About the event

Bio: Growing up, Cara was incredibly shy and insecure. She struggled with learning disabilities and a neurological disorder called Tourette Syndrome.  In 2005 she joined Toastmasters, an international speaking and leadership organization, which helped her gain confidence and literally changed her life.  Over the years she has won almost 30 speech competitions and has even stepped up on stage for a comedy open mic night.  But she says her biggest win is from helping others grow in their skills and confidence and believe in themselves!  As a professional public speaking coach, she helps clients overcome their fears and organize their material into compelling stories that inspire their audiences.
