Biography
Crystal Martinez is a Board of Supervisors Aide with the County of Marin where she has worked on projects including the Marin County Restrictive Covenant Project and Tribal Engagement. She serves as a formal mentor to County employees interested in growing their public careers and leads a professional group dedicated to offering networking and development opportunities to all County staff. Crystal is a College of Marin Board Trustee, appointed in July 2023 to complete an unfinished term and elected in November 2024 to a 4-year term, beginning January 2025. She served two terms on the Marin Women’s Commission and was the coordinator of their signature event, the Marin Teen Girl Conference. She is an alumna of Dominican University of California and the College of Marin. She has served on several community-serving boards and is a champion for women, youth, and access. Crystal is a longtime Marin County resident and currently lives with her husband and son in San Rafael. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son play baseball.
