Speaker: Louise Leff

Enter the world of exquisite gardens and dream landscapes with Louise Leff. Landscape architecture is more than just plants or gardening, it is also art and science. For enhanced outdoor living, Leff’s designs are guided by the desires of her clients. They address needs and wants of edible gardens, fire and drought tolerance, along with environmental sustainability. We will learn how light, texture, color, and the knowledge of plants play an important role in any garden design.

LEFF LANDSCAPE
Louise received her degree in landscape architecture from Rutgers University after studying horticulture at Merritt College. Before her formal education, she spent time in Mexico, where her aesthetic sensibilities began to take shape. Immersed in Mexico's rich culture and diverse landscapes, she drew inspiration from the local environment and design traditions. Traveling through Japan, China, and Europe, she observed how landscapes were connected to history and culture further broadened her perspective and deepened her understanding of the importance of landscape design. Choosing to specialize in residential design, Louise now has opportunities to work closely with her clients and apply the design principles she gleaned from her travels to site-specific projects.
